FINNLEY FLOWER HAT … FREE CROCHET PATTERN

This little crochet hat is quite special to me as it was one of the very first baby hats I created when I started my little crochet business.  When I began, I was a stay-at-home mom with a little one that was almost a year old.  Being very goal-oriented and used to working full-time, I wanted a project to “play” with on the side … this was the beginning of Thoughts, Knots & Stitches.  I started with a blog filled with “crafty” projects and then gradually switched to crocheted baby hats … hence, the Baby Flower Hat which is now the Finnley Flower Hat.  Although I did not have immediate success, this was one of my go-to gifts for baby showers as it was super cute and fast and easy to create.  This is where Thoughts, Knots & Stitches was truly born … After gifting several crocheted baby hats, many people discovered my love for crochet and began requesting specific items.  After creating their specific requests (elephant newborn set, cowboy/cowgirl newborn set …), I began writing the patterns down and realized that although I was passionate about crocheting … more specifically, I love to CREATE.  I truly love creating new designs and sharing them with others.

So, without further ado … below is the Finnley Flower Hat (a revised version of my starting point …)  A PDF version of the crochet pattern with step-by-step instructions and pictures is available on both Etsy and Ravelry.  See the link below for the Etsy pattern listing.  Enjoy!
