CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT SET … STAR … FREE CROCHET PATTERN

As we were decorating our Christmas tree, my little one turned to me and asked, “Mom, why do we put a star at the top of the Christmas tree?”  A star, a simple shape, with such a profound meaning…  The star is placed on the top of the tree to remember the Wise Men who followed the star to find and worship baby Jesus.

“When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.  On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.”  Matthew 2:10-11

What a great reminder!  As we prepare for Christmas, setting up colorful Christmas decorations and hanging stockings for Santa, let’s not forget the true reason for our celebration.  Let’s not forget the meaning of the star on the top of our Christmas tree or the star ornaments hanging from it’s branches.

Celebrate Christmas with the crocheted Star Ornament below!  Not only is it perfect to hang as an ornament on your Christmas tree, but it is also an excellent embellishment for wrapping Christmas presents!  Happy Crocheting!
